Get out of town with Gondwana Tours

I wish I had discovered Gondwana Tours sooner!  I’ve been eyeing one of Gondwana’s tours for a few weeks (the Women’s Wellness Costa Rica trip with Uplift’s Liz Barnet in July),  I didn’t get my act together in time.  So hopefully I will for October!

What is Gondwana EcoTours?
Exactly what it’s name implies – it’s an ecotour! Exploring nature in a responsible fashion plus a focus on wellness and giving back to the places you visit.  Each ecotour contributes to a local non-profit or cause. These are super fun, group-style vacations with knowledgable guides and instructors with some great lodging.

Gondwana EcoTours is a start-up based in New Orleans.  Currently, they have ecotours in Alaska, Costa Rica, Mexico, Ecuador.

Costa Rica – Eco-Surf-Yoga Retreat, October 4-11, 2014
Gondwana is teaming up with Project Pangia and hosting a wellness ecotour in Costa Rica! Kick off your mornings with yoga. Spend your day on excursions to learn about Costa Rican plants and animals plus fresh cuisine made each night at the ecolodge. And take some time to learn how to surf!

For $1,430, the week long trip is all-inclusive. All Gondwana Ecotour fares include a contribution to Carbon Fund to fully offset the carbon footprint created by air travel in addition to a portion of the proceeds from this specific tour will be donated to support the non-profit LaTortugaFeliz.com for sea turtle conservation.
Check out their website for more information. Booking deadline is 79 days from now (they have a counter on their site!). Use the code: RunTheJungle for $100 off the cost!
