It’s been well over 6 weeks since my last post! Shame on me.
In the past six weeks, I finished up one semester, took a few finals, did some cat yoga, welcomed a new year, wrapped up my job of the past 4 years, went to LA, and started a new semester.

I didn’t mean to go MIA but life just took over. Admittedly, the exhaustion of the semester (mostly October through December) really hit me hard right after my last final, about a month ago.
So 2016 New Year’s Resolutions?
2015 was all about the power-moves. I mean how many life changes can you really go through in a year. Either way, I hate New Year’s Resolutions…mostly because if you want something, wouldn’t you just do it? But I like the idea of themes.
Themes I’m trying to adhere to: balance and consistency. For example, people always tell me I can balance things really well like school, work and working out. In reality, I just go to extremes. At one point last semester, I was so busy with marathon training, work, school, and interviewing for internships that I barely had time to think about anything outside of that. As soon as the semester was over, I didn’t do anything and wasn’t at all productive despite still being so busy.
So this year, I’m resolved to stay balanced and consistent with everything. Staying on top of my school work and taking care of myself with yoga and running sessions.
What’s your New Year’s Resolution?
