I can’t believe it’s November. I LOVE the fall. I love this time of year. I love Thanksgiving. I love Friendsgiving. I love marathon-watching!
However, I don’t love that November signals the end of the semester…which means finals….but I won’t speak of such things.
In an effort to be accountable to myself and because I’ve gone into multiple slumps in the past 5 months of not working out as much, I’m going to write weekly posts on my workouts! Especially since we’re going to a crazy busy, and food-centric holiday period.
Monday 10/31 – nada! But I didn’t eat any Halloween candy!
Tuesday 11/1 – Strength at Uplift with one of my favorite instructors, Liz
Wednesday 11/2 – nothing
Thursday 11/3 – Sculpt at Uplift in the AM & Rhythm 45 at Peloton in the PM
Friday 11/4 – nothing but ate a ton of Italian food at Otto Enoteca in the West Village, highly recommend this place!
Saturday 11/5 – my 2nd class at Peloton this week: Metrics 45 at Peloton & tried the Green Monster smoothie
Sunday 11/6 – the 3 workout throw down! Peloton at 9:30am, Power at Uplift at 10:30am and then Swerve at 11:30am. Yes, that was a little crazy but it was marathon Sunday and this was the first time in three years that I haven’t done the NYC Marathon.
Speaking of which, it was also the first time I’ve actually spectated the NYC Marathon. I ran NYC in 2014 and 2015 but prior to that in the three years I lived here before the marathon, I never actually watched. And it really is something. I love the NYC Marathon and it was great to spectate. My sister was running and it was her birthday so we went to 98th Street and 5th Avenue to wait for her. I love the energy of the NYC Marathon – the spectators and the runners…everyone.
