I love the holidays. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday but I hate the cold weather. Either way, let’s get to it!
If we were having coffee today…I’d tell you I LOVE thanksgiving. I also love throwing parties. Maybe it’s the Filipino in me. Or maybe my parents always let me throw parties growing up – elementary school to middle school to my sweet 16. This year, my roomies and I threw another massive Friendsgiving, which was particularly special because one of my roommates is moving back to Ohio.
Of course, I made my signature eggrolls (Filipino eggrolls called lumpia)
On the topic of Thanksgiving…I made broccoli mac and cheese!
If we were having coffee today…I’d tell you I hate cheesy holiday movies but I’ve watched almost all of them on Netflix. I had Election Day and Veteran’s day off from work so while crocheting, I watched basically everything.
P.S. The Princess Switch is so terrible but also so good.
If we were having coffee today…I’d tell you I started playing another season of football in November. It’s a shorter season but with these near freezing temps, it’s kinda shocking that I joined not one but TWO teams for the winter season (I might regret this when it’s 20 degrees outside in February). Admittedly, I’m not a winter sports person and tend to hide out in the gym all winter but I do love playing football and running around all over a field.
If we were having coffee today…I’d tell you that I should go back to the gym more often. This summer I had been working out maybe 5-6x a week. It slowly has been going down the colder it gets outside. Maybe 3x a week which still sounds like a lot to most people but with all the social engagements and holiday parties, it’s hard to stay motivated. Although my only motivation is the Philippines where it is very hot and I’ll be in summer clothes in a few weeks!
